The 5th Korea Open Taekwondo Championship was held in Incheon, Korea from August 18th to August 22nd 2009.  ATU sent delegates from United States to this event.  The list of the award recipients are as follows:

Karl Weiler : Junior 1 - Under 57kg (Male) (Bronze Medal)
Erika Weiler : Junior 2 - Under 68kg (Female) (Bronze Medal)
Seong Kyeong Kim : Senior 1 - Under 67kg (Female) (Bronze Medal)
Giannina Luciana Otoya : Junior 2 - Under 49kg (Female) (Bronze Medal)
