ATU organized a trip to Korea from July 8th to July 17th 2010.  146 people participated from 14 different schools in the U.S.  The places we visited include Muju, Daegu, Youngchon, Kyungju, Busan, Jeju Iseland, and Seoul.  We visited different cultural places, and had important and unforgettable experiences in our Taekwondo training career such as watching a demonstration performed by Korean National Demo Team at Youngchon Festival, visiting Kukukwon and having a picutre taken with the newly elected President of Kukkiwon, Grandmaster Won Shik Kang, and having dinner with Chairman Dae Soon Lee, Taekwondo Promotion Foundation.

    Majority of the group were happy with the new cultural experience including visiting local places, meeting different local people, and eating Korean food, and expressed gratitude to the organization of the trip.  According to them, the trip was excellent in terms of the organization, the professionalism, the accomodation and the price.  More pictures and essays will be posted soon.

    본협회는 7월 8일부터 17일까지 모국 방문 행사를 주관하엿다.  미국에 퍼져있는 14개도장에서 146명이 모여, 무주, 대구, 영천, 경주, 부산, 제주도 및 서울을 방문하였다.  많은 문화 유적지를 방문한 외에도 영천 태권도 페스티벌에서 국가대표 시범단의 시범을 보는 것, 국기원을 방문하여 새로 선출된 강원식 국기원장님과 함께 사진을 찍고, 태권도 진흥공단의 이대순 이사장님과 만찬을 하는등 태권도인으로서 잊지못할 경험을 하기도 하였다.

   참가자 대부분이 여러 지역을 방문해서 다른 지역 사람들을 만나고 한국 음식을 접한 것에 대해서 즐거워 했으며, 협회가 모국 방문을 주관한 것에 대해서 감사를 표했다.  그들에 따르면, 이번 방문은 조직력, 전문성, 숙박및 가격면에서 아주 훌륭했다고 한다.  더 많은 사진과 글이 곧 사이트에 오를 것이다.
